Terms of Service

1. The app

Anjadhe is a personal productivity application that runs on your Mac. It stores your data locally, optionally connects to services you choose (such as Gmail or Google Calendar), and uses AI to help you work with that data. By default the AI runs on your own Mac; you can instead choose a cloud model as described in Sections 4 and 5. The app is distributed free of charge.

2. License to use

Anjadhe LLC grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app on Macs you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publish the app. You may not reverse engineer or modify the app except to the extent applicable law expressly permits (such as interoperability or accessibility adaptation).

3. Your data is yours

Anjadhe stores your notes, goals, journal entries, schedule, and other content you create locally on your Mac. We don’t store or back up your content on our servers. If you enable an optional cloud feature (Sections 4 and 5), the content you send through it is processed to answer that request and is not kept. That means:

• Backups are your responsibility. If you want your data protected against a disk failure, enable the app’s built-in backup feature and keep your iCloud Drive (or chosen sync location) healthy.
• You retain ownership of everything you put into the app. Anjadhe LLC doesn’t claim any rights to your notes, journal, or other content.
• Content you import is your responsibility. Some features (such as Writing Voices) work on documents you bring into the app. You are solely responsible for having the right to possess and use anything you import, and for how you use what the app produces from it. Anjadhe LLC does not review, host, or distribute your imported content.
• If you uninstall the app or delete the local data folder, your data is gone from that machine. Anjadhe LLC cannot recover it.

4. Third-party services

The app can connect to services provided by other companies when you choose to enable them:

• Google (Gmail, Calendar) — optional. Your use of these services is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
• llama.cpp — the local AI engine. It runs on your Mac under its own open-source license.
• OpenAI and Anthropic APIs — optional. If you add your own API key and select one of these cloud models, the content of the requests you make with it is sent to that provider and governed by its terms, privacy policy, and pricing. You are responsible for the charges your key incurs.
• A custom AI server — optional. If you point Anjadhe at your own OpenAI-compatible server, your use of that endpoint is governed by whoever operates it.
• Apple iCloud Drive — optional, for multi-device sync. Governed by your Apple ID agreement.

Anjadhe LLC is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, pricing, or privacy practices of third-party services. If they change or discontinue a service, the corresponding feature in Anjadhe may stop working.

5. Optional Anjadhe services

Some optional features are provided by Anjadhe LLC itself, through Anjadhe Connect (api.anjadhe.com). Each is off until you enable it or use the feature it powers:

• Web search for AI answers. Queries are processed to return results and are not logged or stored by us.
• Anjadhe Cloud — an open-weight AI model we host. Prompts are processed to answer the request, are not logged or stored by us, and are handled by our inference provider under a zero-data-retention arrangement. It includes a free monthly allowance; allowances, quotas, and availability may change.
• Mobile sync relay — carries only end-to-end encrypted data between your devices; we cannot read it.
• Feedback, auto-updates, and opt-in analytics — feedback you choose to send is stored so we can read and act on it; analytics is opt-in and aggregate.

These services are provided free of charge and as-is. We may change, limit, or discontinue them, and free allowances are not a commitment of continued or uninterrupted service. The app’s core features keep working without them.

6. AI output

The app uses AI to analyze email, generate suggestions, and answer questions. AI output can be wrong, misleading, or unsuitable for your situation. Always verify important information before acting on it, especially anything involving health, finances, legal matters, or deadlines. Anjadhe LLC does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated output and is not liable for decisions you make based on it.

Some features can generate text that imitates a writing style learned from documents you provide (Writing Voices). Output produced this way is AI-generated text: it is not written, reviewed, approved, or endorsed by any person whose material you imported, and you must not present it as anyone’s genuine words. You are solely responsible for your choice of source material and for every use of the resulting output, including compliance with copyright, rights of publicity, and laws governing impersonation or AI-generated content in your jurisdiction. Any sample voices bundled with the app are built exclusively from public-domain works of historical figures.

7. Investment and financial information

Anjadhe includes portfolio features: tracking your holdings, recording an investment strategy you write, checking your holdings against that strategy, and AI-generated reviews of both. These are informational tools for your own self-directed decisions.

• Anjadhe LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing in the app is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Using the app does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.
• Strategy verdicts, drift calculations, suggested adjustments, and AI reviews are generated from the strategy and data you supplied. They are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security.
• Market data shown in the app comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on it for trading decisions.
• Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed professional.

8. Updates

The app includes an auto-update mechanism that checks for new versions and installs them when you restart the app. Updates may add, change, or remove features. By using the app you agree to receive updates; you can decline a specific update by quitting before it installs, but long-running stale versions may stop working with third-party APIs.

9. Acceptable use

When using Anjadhe you agree not to:

• Use the app to violate any law, infringe anyone’s rights, or process content you’re not allowed to process.
• Attempt to compromise, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app beyond what’s permitted by applicable law.
• Use automated means to scrape, abuse, or overload any Anjadhe-operated endpoint (such as the update server or the opt-in analytics endpoint, if enabled).
• Use AI-generated output to deceptively impersonate any real person — including presenting style-imitation output as somebody’s genuine statement — or to violate anyone’s intellectual-property or publicity rights.

10. Intellectual property

Anjadhe LLC owns the app’s source code, design, logo, and the name “Anjadhe.” These terms don’t grant you rights to any of those except the limited license to use the app described in Section 2.

11. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anjadhe LLC disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anjadhe LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Anjadhe LLC’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Anjadhe LLC may suspend or terminate your access to any Anjadhe-operated service (such as those described in Section 5, or auto-updates) if you breach these terms. The sections that by their nature should survive termination — Sections 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 14 — will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the app will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surface a notice inside the app the next time you open it. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
